You can easily find out what Kindle model you have by following one of the methods below:
Method One:
You can see the model number on the back of the device, usually towards the bottom.
Method Two:
If you are unable to clearly read the model number of the back of the Kindle then you can find the model details by opening the menu (three vertical dots) in the top right corner, selecting Settings, choose Device Options.
You’ll find the model details mentioned there clearly. This is also where you’ll find the name of the device. The prefix of the serial number (first 6 digits) shown on this screen can also be used to help identify your exact model.

If you follow either of the methods above, you can use the details you find to check the exact Kindle model you have.
