How to find your Galaxy Tab Model

You can easily find out what Galaxy Tab model number you have by following one of the methods below:

Method One

Check the back of the tablet. Samsung include the model number at the very bottom of the device. The model number will start with "SM-".

Method Two

If you are unable to clearly read the model number of the back of the tablet you can get the information from your device settings. Head over to the "Settings" app and then go to "About Tablet".

You’ll find the model number mentioned there clearly. This is also where you’ll find the name of the device.
